Hi there everyone, so being unemployed, I’ve had some time to give back to my community. Inspired by Scott, i’ve started volunteering twice a week doing after school tutoring for grade school kids at 826 Valencia. That’s right ladies, i tutor school children…i’m that amazing, and that good with kids!
So anyways, on tuesday this week, the adorable girl they had me tutor finished her homework early! (so much better last week, when I struggled to help a 6th grader with his math!). Anyways, since I had some time before I was going to take the kids out to the playground, I decided to read one of the many books surrounding me. Of all the books available, I happened upon one full of interesting pictures! Above are some of those pictures. I still don’t know what a book like this was doing at the tutoring center… maybe it was there for bored tutors to read. Enjoy the pics as much as I did!
oh and p.s. i was secretly taking these pictures while holding the book under the table. Now that i think about it, a bearded man, taking secret pictures in a room full of young children might be frowned upon… anyone have any thoughts on that?
